Mahsulot ta'rifi

Oscar Wilde (1854–1900) is known in Russia primarily as the author of caustic satirical plays, the outrageous novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, fascinating fairy tales and brilliant aphorisms. However, his work began with poetry, when, as a student, he received the prestigious Oxford University Prize for his poem Ravenna (1878), and ended with the famous Ballad of Reading Gaol, written shortly after his release from prison.
This collection includes selected poetic works by Oscar Wilde. These are confessional sonnets, tragic elegies and passionate poems filled with ardent sensuality, largely reflecting his poetic corpus and, even more so, the personality of one of the most controversial authors of the 19th century.
