«O'zbekistonning madaniy merosi jahon to'plamlarida» turkumiga kiruvchi «O'zbekiston madaniy merosi jahon to'plamlarida» turkumiga mansub «O'zbekiston tarixi davlat muzeyi to'plami» kitob-albomi ikki qismdan iborat, ularning har biri o'z mavzu yo'nalishiga ega. Ikkinchi qism (27-jild) Muzeyning nafaqat O'zbekiston, balki unga tutash mamlakatlar xalqlari hayotining turli qirralarini aks ettiruvchi 113 to'plam va 18 ming buyumni o'z ichiga olgan boy etnografik fondi shakllanishi va tarkibi haqida ma’lumot beradi.
Jahonda o'xshashi yo'q ushbu loyiha mustaqillik yillarida yaratilgan shart-sharoitlar va O'zbekiston Respublikasi Prezidenti Shavkat Mirziyoyevning o'zbek xalqining madaniy, tarixiy va intellektual merosini asrab-avaylash, boyitish hamda yanada ko'paytirish masalalariga bo'lgan shaxsan e'tibori tufayli amalga oshirilmoqda. Mazkur albom o'quvchilari nashrga ilova qilinayotgan maxsus hujjatli filmlar yozilgan disk yordamida O'zbekistonning boy madaniyati va san’ati haqida o'z tasavvurlarini yanada kengaytirishlari mumkin.
«O'zbekistonning madaniy merosi jahon to'plamlarida» turkumi O'zbekistonning noyob tarixiy-madaniy merosining boshqa namunalariga bag'ishlangan kitob-albomlarni chop etishni ham nazarda tutadi.

The book-album "The Collection of the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan" of the "Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in World Collections" series consists of two parts and each part has its own theme orientation. Part Two (Volume 27) informs about the formation and maintenance of the richest ethnographic collection of the Museum, numbering 113 collections and 18 000 items, comprehensively covering various aspects of life of the peoples of not only Uzbekistan, but also neighboring countries.
The publication is intended not only for members of the academic research community, but also for broad domestic and foreign audiences, and members of the younger generation who are interested in the rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. The project which has no analogue in the world has been carried out thanks to favourable conditions created in the years of Independence and to the personal attention of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to such issues as the careful preservation, enrichment and augmentation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Uzbek people. Readers of these albums will be able to expand their understanding of the rich culture and art of Uzbekistan, having become acquainted with the DVD documentary accompanying this album.
The multi-volumed series "The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the Art Collections of the World" will include the publication of other books dedicated to the unique objects of the historical and cultural legacy of Uzbekistan.

Книга-альбом «Собрание Государственного музея истории Узбекистана» серии «Культурное наследие Узбекистана в собраниях мира» состоит из двух частей, каждая из которых имеет собственную тематическую направленность. Часть вторая (том 27) дает информацию о формировании и содержании богатейшего этнографического фонда Музея, насчитывающего 113 коллекций и 18 тысяч предметов, всесторонне освещающих различные стороны жизни народов не только Узбекистана, но и сопредельных стран.
Издание рассчитано не только на представителей научно-исследовательских кругов, но и на широкую отечественную и зарубежную аудиторию, представителей молодого поколения, интересующихся богатым культурным наследием Узбекистана.
