Jerome K. Jerome: Three men in a boat (to say nothing of the dog)

The book includes selected chapters from the story of the famous English humorist Jerome Klapkey Jerome "Three Men in a Boat, Not Counting the Dog". The unadapted text is provided with comments and a short dictionary. The dictionary contains definitions of some words that are usually not included in the active vocabulary of students. Comments facilitate the understanding of lexical and grammatical difficulties, and also explain the realities of a historical, cultural, everyday and partly geographical nature. The questions are aimed at checking the understanding of what has been read and developing oral speech skills.

The book is intended for students in grades 9-11 of schools with in-depth study of the English language and for students of non-linguistic universities.
